ArchiverTM
is a tool that extracts the data from an
MFG/PRO
environment,
rebuilding the complete application on another PC as a stand-alone executable archive as
at the archive date. All
MFG/PRO
reports and queries are available to run against this read
only archive. The
production environment is free of the data prior to the
chosen Archive point and as Archiver performs a dump and
load of the database at the same time space is released in
the production environment. Your next archive is merged with
the existing one to allow one archive to contain all
historical information. |

ArchiverTM
extracts data and programs, re-building the complete application on
the PC (ready to burn to a DVD) as a stand-alone executable archive as
at the archive date. All reports and queries are available to run
against this read only archive store (or DVD). Once the archive is
verified the production database is rebuilt, without the archived
data.
ArchiverTM
also allows you to reorganise your production database via a
controlled (and verified) dumping and loading process. Due to the
transfer of data to a standalone PC this can be achieved on production
boxes where space has become critical. The new production database is
also built without the archived data prior to the chosen date (this
data is readily available in the archived data).
